Code of Conduct

Last Updated — June 18, 2026Base28, Inc.

The Base28 foundry operates as a high-trust environment for serious operators. This Code articulates the standards of conduct that make that environment possible and the mechanisms by which those standards are enforced.

01

Purpose and Application

This Code of Conduct establishes the behavioral standards expected of all Members, mentors, partners, and staff operating within the Base28 foundry. It is the operational expression of the values that govern the community and is enforced uniformly.

02

Community Standards

Members are expected to engage with rigor, intellectual honesty, and mutual respect. The foundry is a high-trust environment; conduct that erodes that trust — including dishonesty, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination — is incompatible with continued participation.

Disagreement is welcomed; contempt is not. Critique is welcomed; cruelty is not.

03

Professional Integrity

Members shall represent their ventures, traction, and personal credentials accurately and without material omission in all communications with Base28, cohort peers, mentors, investors, and partners. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal.

04

Confidentiality and Information Stewardship

Information shared within the foundry — including pitches, financials, product roadmaps, and personal disclosures — is to be treated as confidential. Members shall not disclose, republish, or repurpose such information outside the foundry without explicit authorization from the originating party.

05

Investor and Partner Conduct

Investors and partners engaging with Base32 cohorts agree to act in good faith, observe customary diligence norms, and refrain from circumventing Base28's introduction and process protocols. Predatory term-setting, coercive tactics, and back-channel solicitations are prohibited.

06

Responsible Use of AI Tooling

Members shall use Base28's AI-native tooling in a manner consistent with its intended purpose. Submission of unlawful, infringing, or deliberately misleading inputs — and the deployment of outputs in a manner that misleads third parties — is prohibited.

07

Reporting Violations

Suspected violations may be reported, in confidence, to the Base28 conduct office. Reports are reviewed promptly, retaliation against good-faith reporters is strictly prohibited, and reporters are protected throughout the review process.

08

Enforcement

Base28 reserves the right to issue formal warnings, suspend access, remove Members from active cohorts, or terminate the Member relationship in response to violations of this Code. Enforcement decisions are documented and communicated to the affected party in writing.
